Length: This oversized model has a thick girth and measures 5 1/2” capped. 

Nib: Commensurably oversized 14k Sheaffer Two-Tone Lifetime nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line.

Condition: Nickel-plated trim is cleaner than most but does show brassing to the clip ball as well as hairsbreadth slivers on the edges of the cap band visible under a loupe. Fine scratches on the trim throughout but it has still retained most of its original luster. Rhodium plating on the nib is flawless. Celluloid surface is smooth and lustrous with no deep scratches or other noteworthy blemishes – scarcely even any microscratches. Manufacturer imprint on the barrel is deep and fully legible. 

Details: This was Sheaffer’s flagship of the late 1930s, identified in catalogues as the Premier - much tougher to find than smaller models. Radius clip, opaque black section, and white dot signifying Sheaffer’s lifetime guarantee.
