Length: This full-sized 3rd-generation model measures 5 1/16” capped. 

Nib: 14k Vac Arrow nib lays down a smooth and consistent XF line 

Condition: Manufacturer imprint on barrel is weakened on the right side, rendering the date code as well as most of “Vacumatic” illegible. Other than that, this pen is near mint. Gold-plated trim is pristine with no brassing or other notable flaws. Celluloid surface is smooth and lustrous with no deep scratches or other noteworthy blemishes – scarcely even any microscratches. Good transparency of an orange color makes the ink-level readily visible when pen is held to light.

Details: The Major was a step up from the Junior, having more generous trim and carrying Parker's lifetime guarantee. Azure Blue features alongside Burgundy Pearl as one of the least common colors.
